Program Overview :
The B.A. (Hons.) in Technology and Law at SRM School of Law is an interdisciplinary degree in the study of digital society, drawing equally on sociology, psychology and ethics, technology and business, and law. The programme trains students to understand how technology conditions human behaviour, how firms and states govern it, and how law regulates it. Through applied Policy Drafting, Simulations, Internships and a final-year Capstone Research Project, students build the capacity to analyse digital systems and to work in privacy, compliance, technology policy, platform governance and digital rights.
Pass in the 10+2 examination through the regular/normal mode, with a minimum of 70% aggregate (or equivalent letter grade/GPA) in the Class XII board examination.
Profile-based shortlisting, followed by a personal interview.

Diversity scholarships are offered in addition to any one of the other SRM Merit scholarship obtained by the candidate. If a candidate is eligible for more than one merit scholarship, the highest of the scholarship will be considered.

a. Regional Diversity :

Students from outside Tamil Nadu/Puducherry who are eligible for any of the above scholarships based on their SRMJEEL/CLAT scores will also receive an equivalent percentage of scholarship on their hostel fees, should they choose to opt for the hostel facility.

b. Gender Diversity :

All Female candidates will get 5% scholarship in their tuition fee as waiver

Important Note: All Scholarships will be processed after enrollment in the first year, upon successful verification of all required documents. Any fees paid will be reimbursed or adjusted against the fees for subsequent years, as applicable.
Conditions for renewal:

Renewal upon application within the stipulated date every year.
No arrears/backlogs at the time of application.
No break in studies/detention/disciplinary action/malpractice.
Must possess the required CGPA as stipulated below:
- For Merit Scholarship – 8 CGPA
- Gender/Regional diversity scholarship – 7 CGPA
