Diversity scholarships are offered in addition to any one of the other SRM Merit scholarships obtained by the candidate. If a candidate is eligible for more than one merit scholarship, the highest of the scholarships will be considered.

a. Regional Diversity: Candidates from outside Tamil Nadu/Puducherry as per their Aadhaar will get 5% scholarship in their tuition fee as waiver.

b. Gender Diversity: All Female candidates will get 5% scholarship in their tuition fee as waiver.

Examples:

Candidate A - Female from outside Tamil Nadu/Puducherry as per their Aadhaar and has scored 96 % in their 12th will get a total scholarship of 15% + 5% + 5% = 25% scholarship in their tuition fee as waiver
Candidate B - Male from outside Tamil Nadu/Puducherry as per their Aadhaar but has not secured any of the above Merit scholarships will get 5% scholarship in their tuition fee as waiveMale from outside Tamil Nadu/Puducherry as per their Aadhaar but has not secured any of the above Merit scholarships will get 5% scholarship in their tuition fee as waiver.

Important Notes:

All Scholarships will be processed after enrollment in the first year, upon successful verification of all required documents. Any fees paid will be reimbursed or adjusted against the fees for subsequent years, as applicable.

Conditions for Renewal:

Renewal upon application within the stipulated date every year.
No arrears or backlogs at the time of application.
No break in studies / detention /disciplinary actions / Malpractice
Must possess the required CGPA as stipulated below
- Merit Scholarship - 8 CGPA
- Gender / Regional Diversity Scholarship – 7 CGPA
